■　時間を尋ねるときは

 What time is it (now)? 　
（今何時ですか。）
（nowはなくてもよい） と言います。

この　it　は時間を表すときの言い方なので，特に訳しません。

■　時間の答え方
「8時です。」は

It is eight.
It is eight o'clock.

「8時25分です。」は

It is eight twenty-five.
It is eight twenty-five o'clock.
のように，時分に分けて２つの数字を並べます。
o'clock は省略できます。
